One of those days.....

Went out for a few hours to the spot where I found the iron jaw harp. Got there around 11 and dug the nice 1930's 10k gents within 10 minutes. My size and 7.5 grams. Too bad the second initial is wrong. Started to do the usual "nice find" sit down for a smoke and gator aide and discovered I'd forgotten my drinks. Discovered my pin pointer wasn't working when I got the musket ball. I used to pooh pooh pin pointers as not necessary until I bought one last year. Now I get frustrated without one when digging through rocks and roots in the woods. The Enfield round was deep in the rocks so I started to take my pack off. The strap caught my headphone cord and snapped the headband. Mosquitoes are out now and I wasn't prepared for that so when it started raining at 3 my brain popped into drive and I packed it in. Not sure what the thistle thing is, no attachment on the back. All in all, not a bad day.
