One Of My Most Interesting Finds

I found this Belt Buckle at a High School when I started Detecting several years ago

At first, I believed the Coins could be Gold but they ended up being 1952 Aluminum Bronze Coins from French Somaliland

The included Explanation initially led me to believe that only 104 were minted but with further research I found out 500,000 were minted
and you can purchase a uncirculated Coin on Ebay for $4.99

No Treasure but still interesting and why it was found at a local H.S. in WNY will remain a Mystery!

wow I bet seeing that gold color was a hear stopper..:stretcher: I might have done the ole "Feinting Goat" routine..:lol:
