One More Cure for EMI

I wear a Blackberry smart phone on my belt-clip. I forgot that it is always sending and receiving signals, even more so than a normal cell phone. I now turn it off (when possible) and I am able to set my sensitivity a bit higher.

Neil,,that is a good tip.

Last Sunday I was getting like a false signal, it would show up about every 30 secs.
I was using the 4x6 coil, it was not there when I was using the 5.3 coil.
So I turned off my cell phone, that did not help.
When I turn around to hunt the way that I came from, I looked up,
and about 75 yds away was a big tall tower, don't know what kind of tower it was,
My guess, it was sending out a signal.
There are getting to be a lot of towers now days..
