One good silver found today 1875 CC above the bow!

I was at the beach today but the waves were still too high so I decided to hit the park which had some brush cleared along the cliff.
I had just found a wheat penny then a 90 sigma on my manticore so I was surprised to see a black coin that I thought was a clad dime then I saw the bow and said oh a barber to my surprise it was a 1875 seated dime!
I never checked for a mint mark but I put it in my pocket and hit a few beaches with not much success so when I got home I checked to see if there was a mint mark sure enough a CC above the bow I could not believe it!
Especially being here in Ct it’s rare I’ve only found one CC before it’s a seated quarter.
I’m still stunned
Mark

Fantastic find Mark! Get back to where they cleared the brush and keep hammering the area.

CC is a fantastic find especially here on the east coast. Just think what that coin went through to get here back in 1875 !!!!
I only have 1 seated coin. Dont get much old silver at the Jersey shore. Its wall-to-wall housing and black top !!!! :))))))

Was going to go out today but got held up by some downed trees. Not use to this cold !!!! If the sun comes out tomorrow, maybe.
Glad scoop is doing its job, Rarely does the wet sand freeze down here. Has to be really cold for several days.
Congrats on your silvers.

Cool. The merc is probably an older one. Pretty nice condition buffalo for the beach. Make sure and check the back for a mint mark if you haven't already as a 1921 S is a key date. I pulled one a few years ago.
