On frozen ground...first time out with se.......:detecting:

Snowy--just sunk in--with that handle, shouldn't you be in another climate digging through snow into frozen ground with the rest of us? :D

That's why I'm really looking forward to getting a chance to hunt w/ Bob(NH)! During my last year w/ a Sov, I was hoping to find someone who knew what they were doing to be able to show me what deepies sounded like but it never worked out. (I'll bring my Sov along and, if he's willing I'll test my Sov on a few of the signals too.) Can't wait 'til my Jeep is fixed and the ground thaws!
 
Ah to be a new Explorer user again, that brings back memories. My first winter I snapped a relic shoven in half trying to pry a frozen plug out of the ground! :)
