That is a great machine i only quoted what Barry told me on the phone today iam sure he is in that video the over seas site shows a much lower price
Jim

From all the Private and regular video's I have seen on this machine......It's alot better then anything out there in depth for a VLF, 2 to 3 times deeper, but it will take some getting use to because it is a single tone detector. And it is a discriminate only machine, no all metal/PP mode. Once I have a little more time, I can spend more time doing deep searchs at some of the older beachs that are covered....., I think this will be a great detector in the right spots, and useless in others. I may get one once I'm alittle closer to retirement, 14 months..working on getting a jetski or jetboat (pirate ship) for this year....

On Barry, Once in a life time you meet someone like him....An Amazing Person, in all ways.....

I've heard a few blurbs about the depth of this machine. However, first and foremost with no tone ID that's a killer for me. Also, I wonder how well it will do in mineralized ground in various areas. The Nautelist (sp?) is said to be a really deep seeking machine but can't perform in mineralized ground of any type for the most part. It's easy to air test or test the depth of many machines in neutral good black top soil type ground lacking minerals, but when you get into the real world the depth of machines that air test well or do good in those types of grounds suffer greatly. That's where Minelabs shine.

Go to the site and click on the first header on the left. This is home for Blisstool and you can choose your language. They have six models from 360 to 700 Euro's.

Critter in the video OBN posted the Blisstool was the only machine to locate a quarter below 6 inches in red clay all the way down to 12 inches , second best was the TDI , E-Trac and XP did not stand a chance Also it has Sound discrimination of the metals . Jim

Were the TDI and Blisstool evenly matched? How much of a price difference is there between them and would they do good on wet salt sand? thanks

deepdiger60
Also it has Sound discrimination of the metals
Can you explain, I may have been wrong on the single tone?...thanks..joe

First off good video,s amazing machine , you might be right about single tone what i think they mean in there video is discrimintion of metal sounds as far as notching out certain metals
in these video,s my mistake... Jim
http://blisstool.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=127 No English version but it s self explanitory

Here is a better example of the Blisstool,s ability to find good targets mixed with iron 30cm deep or 11.8 " deep a nail and coin in the same hole good video , yes it is in French but just watch . Jim

Thanks DD, and that one is a V2......................Getting one would be something to think about down the road...

Seems the Blisstool is starting to get some good results over here in the UK. I am just waiting for mine to arrive :)

Here is a link to the UK out let for the Blisstool with a tab to the forum page. The forum has a few good links to English speaking videos that some of you may find interesting.

Seems the Bliss will go on the wet sand and detect gold chains. http://www.blisstooluk.co.uk

Seems there is now a US dealer also.

Will post you my findings once the machine arrives.

Paul....

No to be disrespectful but....23" on a gold ring is impossible with any machine anywhere.

I wonder how it will do in various mineralized grounds that the Minelabs can handle. Yes, that red iron rich clay can be a problem for many machines. I hunted a little in Virginia and noticed a little loss of depth in that stuff. But maybe that machine has been designed for specific soil types and won't do as well in others? It could have very high microscopic iron tolerances in soil matrixs, but not do as well in other soil types or in salt water mixed sand?

Mainly for me no tone alert is a deal killer. Used enough of those machines over the years to know I never want to go back to them.
