It was a wonderful thing!! The machine was amazing and I understood what it was telling me. I had a safari and it blew me away. I just couldn't stand all the constant beeping over every little piece of metal. I like to detect because it is relaxing to me. I don't like getting frustrated with a machine and just go home.
The omega as well as the t2 are both great machines but as I said earlier if forced to give up one, it would be the t2 mostly because of the notching feature of the omega.
I don't remember if I mentioned, but I have 2500 and for me it is a back killer. I liked the machine so much I ordered the Swingy Thingy, and it does help, but I feel like it is, in its own way uncomfortable, and just something else to keep up with and adjust. So the 2500 will go up for sell and Omega 8000 will get its seat at the dinner table. Shame though, the 2500 has its advantages, but ergonomics in my opinion is one aspect in which it is woefully lacking.
