old model sovereign users , beware

Hi Jean,
Got unit in, and all fixed.
Unit would not power up, it gad two issues, on/off switch open circuit, pos due to a burst of high current, stripped down cleaned now working, also +/-5v rails wrong, BS170 Fet blown, replaced now balanced, crystal old frequency, replaced with 4.194Mhz, general service, re soldered rea coil connector as dry joints, all has been running for 6 hours, stable.
Total cost including shipping £128
