Old Miners Cache

Found this in the 80's while searching for an old mine listed on the map , Found the mine portal was caved in so just started exploring , at first some purple glass in the creek bed & 30' up in some trees a pile of rotten wood & pine needles "Dig" Dig" = Metal ? all that wood was the pick's and shovel's handles the wash tub was upside down covering everything from the rain & snow here is what was found =

The National pan company has made pans like this since the 20's , the Coffee cans I was told about 1950's , When found in early 80's makes them all about 30+ years old back then .

I remember them mentioning the “Hills Brothers” coffee can in the movie “ The River Runs Through It”.
That movie was set in the early 1900’s.
Some of those items may be older that you think.

Awesome. Bet that coffee pot can still make 'a mean cup' of joe and the cast iron (?) pot smells like beans to a bloodhound.
