Lake was established 1930. My grandfather told me stories about taking a trolly 5 miles out of town to swim there on hot summer days there was also a huge ice house there. My brother and I did an hour there today. It was awesome I got 1893 IHP 1899 Vnickel 1900 barber and some clad one clean headstamp .

Nice hunt!!

Man that's cool. How big is the lake.
I'll venture to say there's more than one place people went in at. Any Leach's ?
Can't get in an oll swimming hole we played in because of them. Like one of them old horror movies when ya come out. Auuggghhhhhhh

Some neat and older finds. Yeah, more to be found.

Hey, Odanscoils, leach's won't hurt you. Even for a big one, it would take it at least 2 hours to suck you dry of blood. :D HH jim tn
Sure he says.
That area is so loaded. You'd have a hundred on you in 30 minutes of detecting.
This is out in the middle of country down stream from an old gravel pit. Surprised me it's so bad.

Gonna be more coins in there and you can count on that. Beware of any leeches that have Piranha teeth, bad ju-ju…..

Old GOLD is waitin'.

Like I said we were in for an hour and no bites the bottom is very rocky. Here in nepa ever hole I did is mostly rock. The farmers always joke the feilds here grow them. Here are my brothers finds. He accidentaly dunked the head on his unit nox 600 and it looks like water got in I'll let ya know how how that ends.
