Thanks John.
Time waits for no man, or anything , so make the most of every moment. As humans, we can make choices but an animals lot is laid out before them and they do not have the luxury of choices

Yeah my best buddy, 22 pound seal point siamese, had to be put down at 19 years of age. I still miss that big old bugger.

Bill,

A cat chooses its owner and will stay with you until its end of days but do it wrong and it will leave in a flash.
If injured they will move hell and high water to get back to you. they Never just wander of or get lost. if they go missing then something has stopped them from returning and they won't be far from home.

I once had a cat that was missing for a week, we searched all over the place (in the country) then one day a friends dog started barking and he was down in the back padock. He had found our cat and it was tangled in barbed fencing wire and had a rabbit trap on one leg, (one of mine). As it turned out the cat had got caught in the trap about 3/4 mile from home down in a small gully. It had pulled the trap peg out of the ground and dragged itself home (Almost) but got entangled in the wire at some time along the way. The effort and determination get home was incredible. the cat was wrapped in the wire almost like sombody had done it. After all of that effort he didn't make it because we couldn't afford the vet fees.

Ivanl,

Cheers cobber, hope you had a great Christmas and have a beaut new Year.
