I have a friend in Alaska who weighs over 600 lbs... now that's fat. But a weight reduction of 100 lbs in a year should, with serious effort, be VERY attainable. Just judging from your military career, you certainly have the will power and tenacity to put yourself back into "senior fighting shape". How old are you? How long have you been retired from the military? How much did you weigh when you retired from the military? How tall are you?

I think it takes a lot of courage, and commitment, to post your pictures on the forum. So obviously you're stepping up to bat here. We all wish you the best Art, and hope to see those pounds come off in your monthly reports. Next year you'll almost be looking like this.

... our figures are. You got me by a few pounds and love handles but not by much. Guess I'll be getting on a diet too. I'll wait to post my photo though. Keep at it Art.

The controversial Bo Gritz, acclaimed to be the most highly decorated Green Beret/participant of the Viet Nam war. A colorful character who once ran for president about 15 years ago, and is still occasionally in the news for better or worse. Some claim he's a self-adorned primadonna, lavishing medals upon his own self; and others say he's the real deal. But whatever the truth is, he was bigger than life... but still, not as big as Art.

and it hit 333, man it's hard to believe I let myself get in this shape. My mirror looks just like your pics, If you don't mind I'm going to mark my progress by yours. I wish ya luck and willpower, Give em hell and watch out for those krispy kremes.
