OK Folks,,Here it is, My biggest from AZ, have a go at it

Hi Allan and All

Doc wouldn't know a 33 gram nugget if it fell out of the sky and dented his skull !!I say 23.5 grams !! PS Could you pan the prize out for me since I don't have a gold pan !!!) Happy Huntin John B.

Well,I don't do grams, I only know pennyweight. And if I had to guess on a solid nugget that size I'd say about 4 dwt. But with the quartz in there, that'd bring it down to no more than 3 dwt. Sooooooo....that translates into about 4.5 gms, so that's my guess; 4.5 gms.

Hi Allen and All,

I don't know grams but using Doc's conversion chart I'll guess 5.71 grams. Hard to tell
how much is quartz.
Here's my last one from RP. Weighed 5 dwt. at first, then dropped to 4.5 dwt. after
cleaning. I stopped cleaning as small pieces were falling off.

Well after 15 days of waiting for someone to come up with the correct answere, no one did.:(

There were 36 guesses and 737 hits which means that each person checked back 20.4 times, or there was a bunch of lookie loo's that didn't want to participate.

Out of the 36 guesses there was one that was within .6 of a gram, which makes him the winner,

As for the rest of you 35 guessers, :nopity:  :rage:

The correct weight of the AZ piece is 16.1 grams.

The closest answer was 15.5 grams and the poster was Mick.

So MICK would you PM me with you mailing address I will get your package mailed out.

Thanks for playing along, and HAGD
