Oh What A Day - Finale

he found out, it probably infruiated him. Course it did not help matters that he fell on his but in the snow. I could just picture it all happening and had a good laugh with my cup of coffee.

But you are right about planning on ticketing us. They were working that day to do just that. Trouble with most folks was that they did not realize all the new rules that were being enforced, like the CGA throwable pillow with two arms straps, or the horn or whistle. While we got ours by thinking we were completely in compliance, and knowing everyone has to have a life jacket is a very old, old, law and common sense, it was just an error on our part.

We were guilty, no doubt about it! It's just that we thought the punishment did not fit the crime! Then to escort us off the lake just added to our upset! Oh well, it won't happen again, I can tell you that!

didn't give Johnboy the finger, he would have knocked me clean out of the boat! After all, I learned this behavior from you!

You are right, if you are guilty, you gotta pay the price. It was just a shock to us that we couldn't find that third life jacket! Afer all, we went to such great lengths to make sure we were compliant, and it still came up to bit us in the butt! :(

were total jerks, but we were guilty, just not with intent! Like I told the others, we were so careful to make sure that we were compliant with all the new regs. Oh well!

I don't know where all the fish were, probably laughing at us! The lady at the bait/store said the crappie spawning season was messed up by that cold front that came thru the last time, the one that frosted all of our new blooming plants and trees.

You know how it is if your spawning gets messed up!! Guess they were in bad moods, and scattered to the four winds, because they certainly were not hanging out together in the beds.

We'll keep trying though, and this time.......we'll have three life vests I betcha!

a bad day fishin is better'n any good day workin!

getting together like that is priceless:thumbup:
We are all experiencing the "nanny state" syndrome and tax collectors run rampant. There are ways of legally ruining their day tho..........
