oh the Humanity! :surprised:

:thumbup:Way to go Mud.
A fellow detector friend of mine calls the local pool companies here in northern Ca to see if they have any digs comming up. I always thought that was a little ODD. just moving from Orlando to Tahoe. But then it dawned on me.....I now live in gold country and what better way to find gold is to let someone dig you a big hole in the ground so you can detect the dirt. He has found some gold and some other interesting things.

Mud, that walker is my dream coin!!! So I miss the forum for a few days and this what happens.
So if I understand this right, all I have to find one is to be in the right place at the right time, with the time to stop and clean the place out while the construction crew conveniently steps away with no fence of barricades to stop me and i will find one too, right??
No problem!!! Lol
Uh Ed in co.

Way to go Mud! Opportunity usually only knocks once, I was fortunate enough to come across an old home site that they had just taken 3" of topsoil off (along with a ton of trash) and was able to get some silver and wheaties out of it, the next day they came in and dug it all up like yours:thumb down: Thanks for sharing.

That big silver is incredible to see coming out of the ground, isn't it! Just found my first Walker a few weeks ago, still on a high!

Hey Mud,
It wouldn't hurt to go over some of the piles again, especially the ones with the upper most dirt in them. With what you have found so far, you may as well milk it for all it's worth!! In fact, I would ask the operator where they are taking the dirt (if they are hauling any off) and see if you can access that!!

Good work!! Congrats!!!

Killer finds - congrats !

Thanks guys! I'm coming up with a strategy concerning these H4H builds...heck, I might just hang around a little and get involved....especially on the final yard rake out! .Roland, I've been keeping my eye on this dirtpile brother! You are right, all finds were in the surface black dirt, nothing into the sand below...I dont want to take this kind of thought process to extremes however and get all obsessive on it, but I will keep an eye out for similar opportunities, and strike fast when they arise, as I hope you all do!...:beers:.
Mud

Nice finds Mud! WTG,!

Way to go Mud! Clad ain't no fun after a good silver find! That's why on land silver is my main target, but I usually end up taking handfuls of clad home.
