ocean finds

I live in Michigan but we are going to FL the end of April for two weeks. Just got a new CZ-20 that I have not even powered up yet. (Have a Whites MXT for the dry beaches.)
How has it been in that part of the coast? I am delaying my final decision about where I go until the last minute.
Hoping for some NE winds just before I leave to head for there. If not I just do not know where to go. I have never hunted any of Florida's beaches before.
Any recommendations or an offer to meet up with me when I get in the area?
