This is a cheap hobby and recreation. I weighed the gold I found in Fl. last month. It wasn't much, 18 k 10.25 grams= $227.19. What did the Ace cost me?

I agree, John. It has all that going for it. Id be interested to hear about you cashing that gold in... until you do, it is all on paper
But your point is well taken and I made my comment about being in the loss column half jokingly. I've been doing this for 18 years now and it has paid for itself in just the cashed out coinage, thats certain. As an active hobby this one aint too bad.
