Nothing to do with tecting but you might want to bend the ear of your Congressman..

You know, Uncle Willy, I do appreciate that bit of information. After thanking about it, I don't get involved as much as I should. Thanks. HH Jerry.

This message was not to me, but the 250 is rugged and it has now replaced the 550 and 750 in most of my hunts. Garrett does not make cheapos. Jerry

The 250 is light but well built like all Garretts. Only takes four AA batteries and they are a snap to change - just pop the top of the control box off. It isn't overloaded with bells and whistles but enough to make it perform well.

It's performance is right up there with detectors costing three times as much. It has lightning fast target response and recovery. Almost impossible to swing it fast enough to miss a target. Extremely sensitive to small stuff. Pinpoints right on the button. All the controls are right at your finger tips and all adjusting controls are toggle buttons. There are no menus to enter and search as everything is right before your eyes.

And it's so light and comfortable you hardly know you have a detector in your hand.

Yeah Garrett managed to build a $1000 detector for $200. Going to be tough for the competition to catch up. It currently outsells everything else Garrett makes.

Yeah Julius boy knew what he was doing just like the Ceasar we have in power, or I should say his puppeteers.

There should be a mandate that every elected US Congressman or Senator visit the war memorials in Washington at least once a month so they Never forget the people that died protecting this country.

Most of them don't care. I think they should tour a war zone and get in the middle of a couple of fire fights. Might change their whole attitude.
