Safeway had a big sale on Baby Back Ribs and I haven't had any barbedcued ribs in ages ( and I love em ) so I loaded up on those puppies and barbecued a bunch last night and again tonight. Lord a mercy they were good. Wish I could have shared some with all of ya.

Bill

You own one of those vacuum sealers? If so, send a rack overnight to me, old buddy! Haven't had a really good rib in ages. New York ain't the state for good Bar-B-Que, for sure.

Chris

Safeway also has Sweet Baby Rays b.b.q. sauce for 99 cents a bottle.

Hey, Bill
I am a crock pot fanatic-it fools my wife into thinking I'm a good cook. Have you ever tried the crock pot and used Liquid Smoke? I'm thinking up a recipe formula and thought the crock pot would get them to where they would actually melt in your mouth.

I boil them first to make them tender then smother them in barbecue sauce and grill them till they're nice and brown. Had another batch tonight with baked beans.

Bill.

Start a trend. Whip up a batch.:) Do you have any resturants back there that specialize in them? When I was working in the middle of Watts during the riots in the sixties my buddy and me ate lunch every day at this black- owned barbecue resturant that specialized in ribs. Now these folks know how to make barbecue ribs. They were to die for. The sign of a good barbecued rib is when you look like you got more on the outside of you than you got on the inside.

Bill

And here's somthing else that goes with those ribs :beers: :beers:

Well, Willy, eat your heart out, because I'm smoking three slabs of pork short ribs, a dozen brots, and a capon. It'll be ready in about 3 hours. Are you coming over?
