Not My Best Hunt, But It Was Good To Get Out Anyway...

Hey, I don't even ride, but it looks like it's worth 500 smacks to me. Nice bike, and not too bad on the coin take at the beach either. Is that where you live Mike. Nice place. You know a brick home like that here in San Diego would be about a half a million. I think I need to move or get a "real" job.:D

...a little better looking version, right??? :D

OK guys, tell the nice man what kind of mileage you actually get on those happy machines!

I'm 65 and have had two back surgeries but the last bike I had was a 750 and it only got about 30 mpg. Heck, I get 27 in my Buick LeSabre and a lot more comfortable, especially in the rain or snow. That said, I do miss riding a bike. I have had a two wheeler since I was 14, a Cushman scooter, don't cha know!

Don't forget the helmet. Not required in some states but a necessary requirement for those that are still able to think.

A mind is a terrible thing to waste.

Yup, that's my house. We bought it in 1987 for $82K and one just like it on our court sold a couple of months ago for $215K. We have a bigger backyard and a few other features they didn't...nice deck, gas fireplace, better roof...stuff like that.

I know this area is a BUNCH cheaper to live in. I was in Newport Beach last spring for a week long school. Expensive!

Thanks for sharing the picture of you home. It's a nice one. Wow what a great price you paid for it and it's going up in value pretty quick. I better jump on something pretty soon, somewhere, or I'll be living under a bridge somewhere. You're right about Newport. I assume you ment Newport Beach in California, but maybe you ment Newport Rhode Island. I know the one in California is really E X P E N S I V E. I was up there a year or so ago shooting video of a place called the Wedge where they belly board right near the shore when it gets big. The channel is right there and you can watch the million dollar boats go in and out of the channel. By the way, I'd like to go back and hunt that beach some time. Might be interesting.

I think he kind of looks like a young Marlin Brando with an attitude. All you need now is a couple of holsters to put your detectors in while you ride down the beach, pulling brodies in the sand. I think I've been watching too many old surf movies. What do ya think???

Brodies is an old term we used to use years ago meaning more or less, skidding around in the sand as you gun your engine, you know, spinning your tires and stuff sliding around in the sand. Of course I was just trying to be cute, as usual, making up some silly stuff to try and get a laugh, but the brodie thing was for real. We used to use it when we were teenagers. Gosh, when was that??? Sometime back int eh late 1800's or something. Oh darn, I forget.

Mike, I didn't know you got snow back there. Does it snow on the beach too? what a trip, I thought since your near the beach you wouldn't get snow, but what do I know. I'm from California, (which is just like a bowl of granola) there's a lot of fruits and nuts and the rest are just flakes. (I'd throw a smily face in there, but lately everytime I try to use smiley, my post gets hung up and disapears.)
