Not much, but The Excal II found it

Well it's small and very thin, but it's silver. about 8'' in the black sand. The Excal II is a super machine. The ring is junk, but it's still a ring, Gene
 
Gene, when you're making finds like that, then it's only bad luck that they aren't gold or good silver. Small silver at 8" is good at the beach.. well done.

There are many different claims from detectorist, and I only had the Blue 1000 for a short time, The coil was like pushing a truck underwater, so I sold it. the Excal II coil is very easy to push underwater. They say the Excal II goes a little deeper, but I wouldn't want to bet nothing on that unless a controlled test was done to find out for sure. They are both butt kickers and the best machine I've ever used. Gene
