Not Good

I have mild ground and my DeLeon works pretty well here, but it is affected by EMI in my home. It is pretty sensitive and I find that turning the sensitivity at 7 or 8 gives me plenty of depth and it runs smoothly. I tried running my fingers around the coil and it did not respond at all to that. The temperature thing would make me scratch my head, however.

Got my DE LEON back from TESORO. Still have the same problem I had when I sent it in. ID numbers jumpin everywhere and no its not electric spikes! Im gonna buy a new coil and try that if it doesnt help im junkin it.[/quote

I had a DeLeon and it started doing the same thing in my house, the numbers jumped all over. I thought my detector was faulty. I cleaned off my coil well, put in fresh batteries, checked the coil connector, nothing helped.

When I went outdoors the detector worked 100%. I have since sold it and bought a Cortez, it reacts the same way in the house. Im my case there is some electric interference inside my house.

Whatever you do do don't junk it, like another poster mentioned call Tesoro first.
