High today was 41-deg, Great time to go detecting. The first three inches of soil was frozen making rescue difficult. But rescue I did with three silver quarters, 1958-D/D Northwest, 1959-D, 1963-D/D North. Also a 1941-S Mercury Dime and four Wheaties, 45, 45-D, 53-D, 56-D. Last was a Illinois Dept Conservation Tag from 1945. Not shown was a flipping coin, Heads I Win / Tails You Lose and $1.34 in clad. Detecting was done on private property with permission and any lawn destruction ignored due to re-sodding next spring.
