Not a good start.................

Randy, I hope that your T2 is an isolated problem. I bought my T2 barely used and it is a very well built detector. So far as being a First Texas product, I have had a couple of Bounty Hunters in my days and I never had any problems with them. I have had one brand that is one of the biggest around and I had problem after problem with several of their recent detectors. I won't mention the brand, but rest assured, I won't buy one of these again. If you get it straightened out and it continues to be problematic, I would say the model might be a bad design. I will tell you that you bought your T2 from one of the best dealers around and he will get you on the right track. Try getting it fixed and give it an honest try because it is a very good detector. I want to thank Ron (Dixie Detectors)for taking care of the problem for me and I want to thank Maggie Lazo from Teknetics for how quickly she took care of the problem. Maggie called me this morning and apologized for the problems I had with the T2. Maggie issued a pick-up for the bad one and she is shipping me out a new one. Maggie assured me the new one would be checked out before it was sent. So far I would give both parties an "A" in customer service. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the new one will work fine.
