Not a comparison, but a question about capability..

A little ribbing comes with the package, some folks can't even do a simple GB. So, step into the ring and go a few rounds, smart up .

I will forward your idea to ADMIN. For the most part, comparisons are a compilation of personal opinions and results vary widely due to location, users likes and dislikes and the abilities of the user. Most of us are smart enough to draw our own conclusions from the information already available from many sources. Listening to other peoples opinions would not change my opinion of any detector in the least. Personally, I have no use for comparisons let alone a separate forum for them.

I seem to contradict myself agreeing that comparisons are helpful and then telling Willy that I don't have a use for them. What I was thinking that didn't translate to print, is that personal comparisons between detectors in hand are very useful, comparing what other people think of a detector........ NO.

Well at the very least, user comparisons are not usually bought with big advertising hype, or dealer double talk.

I don' use Garrett detectors so I can't make a good comparison. It is not the moderators that set policy, like no comparisons. User comparisons are not always unbiased or even accurate. There is a forum for comparisons it is the General Forum.

Metal Detecting Forum
General Metal Detecting Forum dedicated to all detectorists no matter what brand of detector or type of hunting you might prefer. Rob

Well, my primary detector is the V3, could we at least compare setting, target ,response to other machines without resorting to the general forum , as long as the main topic involves the V3

Please read the second thread from the top of the list Calibil. You don't seem to understand that we do NOT do comparisons on this forum........ PERIOD If you don't like to abide by our rules, move on to some other forum.
