NOKTA/MACRO PULSE DIVE... A REAL ___GAME CHANGER___???

<< "Also, video recordings of depth tests don't lie. Visuals don't lie. That is all we want to see.">>

SIR...ARE YOU IN ANY WAY IMPLYING THAT --ANYTHING-- I PUBLISHED HERE IS --ANYTHING-- BUT THE TOTAL AND COMPLETE TRUTH? i went out of may to go to the bank and bring home from our safety deposit box...the JEWELRY...that YOU SIR...WERE ASKING TO SEE DEPTH READINGS ON. JUST FOR YOU "COMISOAS" ! Last night...BECAUSE I WAS NOT QUICK ENOUGH FOR YOU TO POST... I again get a SNIDE REMARK: "NOT a game changer?" YOU MAY BE CONFUSED AS TO WHERE YOU ARE SIR...BUT THIS IS ---NOT--- THE UTUBE SITE. THIS IS A FINE, WELL RUN FORUM, THAT PRIDES ITSELF IN QUALITY CONTENT...NO MATTER WHAT THE COST.

I have a wife of 38 years to answer to...who needed an overhead garage door fixed! So she could get the heavy, double overhead door open, and go to work. I'm sorry if I disappointed you...and was a couple hours LATE...from my usual posting time. I was not aware that I must report in at a certain time every night. You should have instructed me of my official posting times. Have you ever analyzed and replaced a start capacitor on a 30 year old garage door opener, Sir?

PLEASE...I NEED YOUR ANSWER, SIR.... MR. "COMISOAS"

Jack, take a break, check your blood pressure - or did miss an lol in there somewhere.

P.S. check your keyboard, the caps lock key seems stuck.

Nobody likes being rudely questioned - I get it.

Whoa, I apologize if I made you upset. I didn't mean to ruffle feathers. I would just like someone to show a simple comparison on Youtube. The Scuba Tector is a fine machine. I know it's capabilities from using it for 2 summers. I see a couple of videos showing depth of large coins. I am just requesting a video of some smaller jewelry. Sorry if I made you upset.

I just re-read my previous post. I do apologize for saying that "videos don't lie" and "visuals don't lie". I truly didn't think about the implications of that verbage. You are right. You took it as I was calling you a lier, which sounds like what I was implying. I only meant that to see it in action is what would be nice. Again, my apologies for the inconsiderate verbage.

Very well said. I do appreciate the effort put forth on the part of Jack. I will just have to be patient and await a video showing small gold as compared with the Scuba Tector. I am really hoping that the Pulse Dive is more sensitive/deeper.

Thank you Sir. I appreciate you writing to set things straight. I have been trying to convince my wife to in fact... do a UTube video. But we really need BOTH models to do a meaningful test. I’ll explain later. I know video’s cannot be shown here, according to the “Big Boss’s Rules”. Guvner owns and pays the expenses and upkeep on ALL these Findmall boards. And he and he alone, makes the rules! I greatly commend him for undertaking such a difficult job!

It is only that I spend a huge amount of time to “get it right” the first time. I watched a video that my friend in Hawaii sent me today. I “thought” he was going to make one himself. The video he sent was comparing the other two models to each other in some school room. The ScubaTector held its own pretty good. But looking at my numbers from last night, the PulseDive would still easily be my choice... in light of BOTH a Pin Pointer for land use, and a Scuba Coil for just $189.00. And please remember that “just an inch” is in most cases, is like an extra 15-20%! One fifth of your chance to discover that target!

What I’m trying to say is...if your ScubaTector is working well, it’s fine, I would keep it and use it! My friend mentioned he is having trouble with the buttons on his, but who knows what the age or particulars are? He owns both models that fellow (who seems to be a teacher) tested. And my friend Ross in Hawaii has sent me a pic of a beautiful gold ring he found with I believe the ScubaTector!

And always remember... AIR TESTING...-only- has validity —-or worth—- if doing a side by side model comparison at the same time, same video. Actually holding BOTH MODELS up to testing in exactly the same conditions. And even then...the test video would only be fair, if the ScubaTector was also BRAND NEW. Right? What if the ScubaTector company, just made a circuitry upgrade? And now it detects even deeper/stronger??? Again, unfortunately I do not have access to a ScubaTector. I should of pointed out the caveats sooner.

Just please allow me to cite one last example... why it is better to see for yourself at your local dealer. Or buy online from a man like Richard at Backwoods, that -over time- or referrals from -your- trusted friends, you can IMPLICITLY TRUST. My example is... say I was a crook...and because I needed a WOODEN RULER...to test with...that on that ruler that I made out of something like a paint stick, that for every inch I marked off...that I SHORTED IT BY •JUST• 1/8 “!!??? You or me watching this video, from a distance and clarity...would see the “ruler” looks -consistent- and looks right in our minds...And so in 4”, I gained/cheated -both of us- out of another 1/2” ONE HALF INCH!!! That’s huge...all you need to make it look like you have the superior model! See my point? :)

And I apologize for my anger. It sucks to get old, just promise me you never will? :)

God Bless All Here,
Jack

Quite fine Jack. Thank you for your understanding. I am getting old too, which might account for my mistakes in verbage and impatience. We are both after the same thing....goodies in the bag. Thank you again for your efforts!

Here is the deepest handheld, home made at that, which I have ever seen. Artem Molchanov make them! On Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fOhLkHGO7D4 You will be blown away. He has numerous videos and even a side by side with the Scuba Tector. You will be impressed!

COMISOIS: So did you BUY ONE OF THESE HOME/MADE MODELS? I saw their entire last auction. And nobody bid at all during the entire auction. If you COMISCOIS... wish to buy this model as shown on EBay, PLEASE GO TO EBAY AND DO SO! This is the supported and pair for by Nokta/Macro to show their new products, and answer questions so everyone interested is served.

You have gone against Findmall rules to frankly be rude to bring someone else’s (and may I say (homemade) product to view on a board reserved for Nokta/Macro Products ONLY!!! (There ARE other boards that allow you to experiment). Repair service facilities, online tech support, warranty? Does it offer any of that? I saw the time he tried to sell one on eBay, it did not sell. He is probably violating one or more Nokta/Macro Patents.

Anyway... ENOUGH. Please take your home grown products elsewhere. This is the NOKTA/MACRO TECHNOLOGIES MESSAGE BOARD. If not sure my words ring true... please contact Guvner the big boss of this outfit. He will set you straight. Thank you.

I am sorry, I had not read the rules but just did. I also reported myself to the Admin with my apologies and stated that it won't happen again. I genuinely meant no harm. I do want to add, Jack, please try to keep your finger off the LARGE CAP key. It is like you are yelling and drives people crazy. I too have had enough and you will not hear from me again on this forum. Sit down, enjoy a cup of decaf or tall glass of warm milk and have a relaxed evening. I would hate to be responsible for any medical issues :)

Warm milk... any honey? (Great for helping to clear a thick phlegm throat)...Really. You were a big man... (see now I would of called you a big man IN CAPS)! That I bet would of been ok, right? As I was saying... you were a “Big Man” (seriously) to report yourself to admin. I’ve never seen that done B4! And because of that, I was asked what admin should do about you. I thought to myself...if he is MAN ENOUGH (those HAD to be caps) to report himself, he is a good enough man to stay. And please do... but as I think you are aware now, these MBs/forums are not run on charity, but sponsored by certain companies and individual parties such as MT manufacturers and MT dealers.

Nokta/Macro Technologies literally helps pay for the expenses and admin of keeping this board up and running. Look what happened to White’s? They decided (rather foolishly I might add), to stop supporting this forum with only a portion of their ad dollars. Can the Boss here... “Guvner” allow them a free ticket, when everyone else has to pay? Certainly not. But the loss of the information exchange was huge. Owners of White’s models that no longer have that huge data base to reference and learn from, especially if your having trouble with your machine. It really is sad for all the customers, especially those who cannot afford to buy new. White’s should of considered the considerable loss to their customers, vs. the very, very reasonable fees to stay active here.

You can only think of what my boss thinks when you were mistakenly posting a live link to an eBay auction for a -competing product- (for almost twice the price I might add). Personally, (which has next to zero value) I enjoy seeing the “whole picture” of especially electronic products. We live in an amazing age, changing so very rapidly, feeding upon itself, that unfortunately is also hurting our one on one humanity. Who would of thought just a few years ago, of answering and seeing the face of the person ringing your doorbell at your home, -from across the country-!!!

I gave you what I thought “ Comisoas,” was the very best advice for you at this time. That was to keep your ScubaTector and simply use it for a long time to come. But their is another smart approach worth investigating! Sell it now (especially if it has a lot of use on it) and buy the new PulseDive because I know chances are you will LOVE it! And too...how old is your PinPointer? Is that item well worn but saleable? And you can sell both on the free advertising site here, and I bet a new PulseDive is almost paid for? One other fellow here said he is doing exactly that...selling his Garrett Carrot well it still has peak value. It has been the gold standard, no doubt. But now the PulseDive truly has so so many advantages, with gaining a HALF-INCH better range/depth over the Carrot. Think of the productivity increase! How much quicker you will find the target down in the hole. The PulseDive defaults to just Level 1, power, on start-up. At first I thought this might be a fault, but I quickly realized that for the great majority of targets, Level 1 Power... is all you want or need! It is so powerful on Level5, that the average target LIGHTS UP THE WHOLE HOLE! But the trusty old Carrot will always be in my pouch as a back up!

This past weekend my wife and I had a Treasure Hunters Gathering here in Sebastian. Quite a crowd with a big cookout and a charity auction. I was lucky to be up front when a 10 pound Civil War Parrot Shell fully loaded came up for auction. I was the only bidder at $100! Sweet!!! And it has some special history too. This Parrot Shell (Union) was dug about 50 years ago by Stu Auerbach, the founder of Kellyco, and one of the early pioneers of metal detecting! This Parrot Shell had sat on display in the museum for almost that full half century.

This being the home of the 1715 Spanish Plate Fleet, the loss of 11 Spanish Galleons along the coast here in the shallows. Right off the beach, most remains in 10-30 feet of water, and plenty treasure still coming ashore after storms along these beaches. I attended this gathering of about 100 divers, detectorist’s, etc., walking around with my little PulseDive “sales kit.” The carrying case the PulseDive came in.

The enthusiasm shown for this new product was to my wife and myself very exciting! You see the divers are always fighting to get their full size detectors in these tight crevices and gaps in this “worm reef.” Areas that time and again have held the gold coins and the Queen’s jewelry! To make a long story short... I could of sold my unit 2 dozen times on the spot. I signed up an entirely NEW DEALER TO NOKTA/MACRO... “Ancient City Detectors” out of St. Augustine, Fl., and sold 1 unit through RICHARD @ BACKWOODS METAL DETECTORS, Greeneville, Tenn., and another fellow insisted he be included in the first batch to Ancient City Metal Detectors! And so... THAT is the kind of amazing response I am witnessing! Thank You!

Yes sir, that was a HUGE mistake on my part. So after all of our family bickering, we are still friends! That is what it is all about. Have a wonderful evening Jack. Bryan

I believe I owe this MB some further testing of the PulseDive. I know my buddy Bryan wants to still see small gold chains, and my wife says she can contribute just that! I have a light medium gold chain. How are these to be tested...in a pile, semi-pile, or laid out straight? Please let me know! I've never found a PM necklace, just watch chains that were gold plated, and a couple very pretty bracelets.

However when I found my 6" Italian 14Karat gold bracelet, it was laying out underground in a perfectly straight line! So what do I do...I scan up and down the bracelet and see it is a long target, probably a pipe, yet it had a strange low number and real solid like a brick reading. So I foolishly went for the -center- of the target, just as you always do in a pin point, and ...well YOU KNOW!!! I flipped the plug over and saw a little pile of chain on the bottom of the plug. Then I looked down in the hole, and saw the rest of the bracelet, hanging down the side of the hole!!!

But of course...this was all just good practice to learn from. And I finished up and headed home (three houses away on foot) handed my wife the two pieces who was working in the kitchen. She had a curious look on her face, that became more sullen as time went by. Next she was scrubbing the links in her dish water...and I heard a very determined woman state: "Jackson...I do not see any tarnish on these links!" And sure enough...she showed me on the little tang, the 14k and the word "Italian," and a makers mark.

And so I had ___CHOPPED IN TWO MY VERY FIRST SOUTHERN GOLD BRACELET.___ NICE... Lucky for me...the links were set for adjusting the bracelet length by having a system of a "ball & stud" design. I carefully wrapped the stud receiver end in soft cloth, and gently put in the vise, just enough to hold it in place. I had done enough damage already!!! And I came up with the ball end on a little rod, in long nose pliers, and fortunately with soft but determined pressure... it "popped" the little gold ball right back up and in the holder! Praise the Lord. And so I learned a hard earned lesson. If you get a long reading with numbers and tones that could be gold, -go to the end of the object while Pin Pointing-, and dig carefully from an end, not the middle!!! :)

Any other items to test, please let me know. Or any other tests in general. Thank you.

Both small and large gold rings, like a man's wedding band and a womans diamond ring woulde be interesting to know.

TWO THOUSAND VIEWS !!! Thank you so much. As a way of saying "Thanks!"....Richard at Backwoods Metal Detectors (A friend and board sponsor) has a wonderful 9" Concentric coil (The AF23C) that if I did not already own...would buy in a heartbeat! Ready? $99.00 I bet the first one who reads this will thank me...good luck! Another dealer has it right now at $128. It's a super coil for covering good ground, yet small enough to work in iron. I ordered this coil to come with my Anfibio new...I had heard so much good about it. A word to the wise is sufficient.

My BAD BOYS!!! I was so excited to see this wonderful Nokta/Macro 9" CONCENTRIC COIL for sale for only $99.00 that I forget to check for details on page 2. Not a problem...it looks like new, but does have a little use. The warranty goes out a year and a half from now to I believe Feb. 10, 2021, not quite two 2 full years. Because I barked out so quick on this coil, not seeing page 2, I WILL PERSONALLY GUARANTEE THE COIL UNTIL MAY 10, 2021. So You get the same full warranty as if bought brand new! And at a deep discounted price of only $99.00. Look at all of Richard's deals....buying something from you think someone else? Give Richard a call and 10 minutes to beat that price and you also get all his kindness and care of your order, he will treat you like family. And I truly mean that folks...Richard is a fine old Southern Gentlemen, and deals fair and honest in every little respect. Just a pleasure to do business with. He watched over your order from the moment placed until in your hands!!!

AND... I forgot to mention that this coil can be used on BOTH THE ANFIBIO AND KRUZER MODELS! It really is a fine coil to work the parks and fields that contain a fair amount of iron and other junk. The AF23C is so well balanced and light enough to make you think you might have a 7' on her! Going slow in medium to heavy iron, you simply SLOW DOWN....and let the machine and coil do the work. And like magic...you will hear the grunt of the iron, BUT THEN THE HIGH TONE alongside the iron! A challenging and rewarding way to detect areas that others have passed on due to too much iron. You just have to listen for your higher notes. Also reducing the volume on the lower conductors to just 1 or 2, keeps the rest clear to sound out with authority when approached. This coil was actually requested by a member for a good all around "meat & potatoes" coil to work in the average area with iron and other junk. Yet be able to sort out the good higher notes with speed and accuracy. This is my "go to" coil whenever I start a new site that I am unfamiliar with. And with fighting for good targets in iron...we all know the ___CONCENTRIC COIL___ is the right choice. Heavy minerization in your area? Then and only then...a double D Coil might bring up better results still. What I love compared to the small "sniffer" coils like the 5 or 7" is that you can still get some serious ground covered in your allotted time. And don't forget the unseen bonus: The 9" Concentric will give you the strongest signal of them all, just by her shape, and with the 9" size, you will easily decipher small coin size targets, but also have the backup power of the machine, to drive a deep, ring of fire...down deeper than any of the other smaller coils can. I dug one piece of iron that was well over 2' deep, and a good solid target reading.

Just a good all around coil to own if you have an Anfibio or Kruzer model. I bet you will hardly ever take it off! And a full new warranty period on this one only. Thanks to Richard @ Backwoods, he is offering a deal of this nature. He is stocking up and taking final orders AS WE SPEAK...ON THE PULSEDIVE UNIT. THE FIRST MAJOR U.S. BATCH. Many (rightfully so) are in the top of the line and paid for already. Join in NOW TO NOT BE DISAPPOINTED LATER BY DELAYS. SPRING HAS SPRUNG!!! Thank you.

The Pulse Dive is shipping now.. both the black and yellow combos are in stock at the moment.. Steve 's prediction was right about high demand.. Any questions, please contact me at backwoodsdetectors@comcast.net. HH Richard
