Noise Cancel Question

All my noise cancelling was done with the coil right on the ground (today). It worked just fine like that. As far as banks go (like a sinking boat) some need more bailing out than others. Ron
 
Ron that is strange, that is what I did the last 2 hunts. Noise cancelled with the coil on the ground. It worked fine also...Jer/Z
 
Folks,

Sounds like both systems work and most of you folks use the on-the-ground method. If the rain ever stops and we can get out again I will try that method. It has been raining for so long that I am considering an ark.
