No tecting today. Another 100 plus degree day UGH!!

I am from central Ohio and we have had mid 90s all week. Its the darn humidity that kicks me in the tail. supposed to get some rain friday.:clap:
 
You know what they say, "Be careful what you wish for.":shrug:
 
over here in southern California we normally would be at 100 + scorching degrees, but having a unusual over cast sky's, with mild 70 degrees temps which makes for perfect detecting.
 
Yeah when I lived there in the LA area many moons ago it used to cool off every evening when the breeze came in off the ocean. Then there were the Santa Ana winds blowing that heat in from the desert that always screwed things up.. I lived all over down there at one point in my life. Lived out in Murrieta ( south of Lake Elsinore ) for a spell and that was a hot hell hole.

Hit a 100 degrees twice yesterday and today peaked once at 96. Working 4-10's and another 3 day weekend too hot to detect here on the Salmon River. A short rain this late afternoon only raised the humidity and discomfort. Sure wish it was a steady 70 degrees.
