Good exercise anyway. The Sovereign Elite was hitting targets deep on the beach today so I don't think I would have missed any gold if my coil would have gone over it.

I don't either! The target density has the right mix for gold, coins and lead, USUALLY=GLORY! I like it! Good work there!

Even though I didn't pull any jewelry yesterday these are some finds from prior hunts at this same small saltwater beach. All found around and under a fishing/swimming dock. The necklace is 14 kt. white and yellow gold. All the gold rings are 14 kt. also.

Hi Crazy,
Great hunt. Did you say you used an IDX Pro for some of that loot? I tryed the same thing on a freshwater beach over here. I took it in the water for about 15 minutes and had so many targets it was unbelievable. Not the right under water digging tools though. I will be getting a decent scoop from the UPS truck today. I am also thinking of getting an excal or maybe just plastic bag the Musky Ad.

This is a private community beach so I have the whole place to myself. There has to be at least a minus 3.0 tide to get out to the end of the dock where the fishing/swimming platform is to get the best goodies.

Nice hunting! That's a long pier for things to roll and drop from. Looks like you've got quite the place to hunt until other community members get the detecting bug!
