This reminds me of the time i was detecting our local beach.........sovereign gt in hand,finds pouch strapped around my waist,headphones on and concentrating intensely looking like a dedicated professional.The wife,walking along beside me bends down and plucks an 18ct gold diamond ring out of the sand and makes me lookblike a right muppet.

Exactly JB, I find myself along on walks with the wife and the stuff I spot in the curb edges or parking lots drives her crazy. The axiom that any horizontal line in the woods bears a second look as it could be the big game your chasing. Now I spot more round coins that ever on the asphalt jungles!

It's paid off more that once.

I believe there's tens of thousands of earrings on the beaches.
Just lately are machines really capable at detecting them. Makes me almost wanna dig deep and screen sift the beaches.

I always keep my eyes on the ground it pays off I’ve found silver coins on the beaches after storms on the surface with footprints on them!!!
