Jim,could be a different approach with another detector.The soil was dry and 1200 series from my experience work best in these conditions.LOL luck can also play a part?Thanks Ron
 
Jim,yea these 1235Xs are great detectors,this is the reason they are hard to find for sale,Still a bargain at the higher prices these detectors fetch.I still like the cap idea with the logo,but we already know Minelab won't compromise their brand name.Probably have to use another approach without using the Minelab logo. Thanks Ron
 
Interesting how an area can be nuked with many different machines / frequencies / coils / settings / ground conditions and with all the different combinations / ground situations that beautiful Walker was missed. Well that is... until you fired up the 1235X. Luck? sure it was luck you got that coil over the very area where the coin was lol interesting note about the 1200 series working better in dry ground conditions. - Jim
