Nice hunt with my "old technology" SE and the Ultimate coil.

Great post and nice finds. Have you got to use or experiment with the ctx yet? Curious as to what you thought or how it compared to your explorer?
 
Great finds big man!! No doubt about it you are a beast when it comes to finding deep coins in iron! Truly amazing! I will never part with my SE Im more and more amazed by it every time I take it out. But I had to try the CTX.. Not because I think it will find coins my explorer wont. The real reason is because it looks like a freaking ROCKET launcher :yikes: Hey some of the places I hunt... I need all the protection I can get :thumbup: Take care brother! Hope to see more finds from you soon.

Bryce-IL, great finds. I've read many request, not just here but many other forums where people, including myself would like to see a video or review from you comparing the Etrac/stock coil and the Etrac/Ulitmate 13" on some targets. Anyway you can do that?
Everyone vote, yes or no for this request.
 
He probably doesn't want to or it would have happened. I don't think it's cool to put someone on the spot and have people vote on it... But that's my decession.
 
I'll shamelessly throw in my vote, but I want to see him test the 12x10 and the Ultimate on undug targets to see if one is deeper than the other. Sorry Bryce, I'm sure your busy and have better things to do, but it can't hurt to dream a little. :biggrin:

I'm with Derrell , I don't see how Bryce has time to do what he does .He puts a lot of time into two forums here , answers Emails , has family responsibilities and has to earn a living besides . I would hope he could get more time to relax , detect more , ride his Bike or whatever keeps his mind right . I'm thankful he posted this post so we can see how well the Ultimate coil worked with his Explorer and appreciate the time he has given of himself to help us all out . Based on by what he has shown here and what I have read on this coil on other forums I would say this is a great coil . Don't forget the fact that he tests these coils at sites both he and many others have pounded the heck out of for years . Thanks for everything Bryce .:beers:
 
Agreed here too Dirt Doctor. I'm guilty myself of asking a lot and probably should respect his private time a little more. He is really good about answering private messages too and I really appreciate it.
 
I agree completely, but who else could do what he does with such honesty?

I'm right with ya Bryce..........while I don't have any of the Explorers (but I'd love to try one), I have no desire to trade up from my E-Trac, as I am happy as a lark with the way it performs.........I'm totally surprised at the number of people who have jumped ship for the newest toy on the block!!! :shrug:

BTW..........nice digs and Herc looks pretty good in the sombrero! :thumbup:

was thinking about upgrading but pulled my ad and decided to keep my se pro and glad i did explorers have found me lots of nice treasures over the last 13 yrs. i got to try a friends 13in ultimate coil a few times and found nothing because my pro coil already found it, but thats not saying a new area wont find me targets with the ultimate coil
