just love it. I have had it a long time and have rebuilt the compresson, just cleaned it up and put in new reed valves, three times. Lots of time on bottom.
The one I have and I bought it maybe 16 years ago, has a twin compressor. It will run one man to 90ft, two to 60 and three at 45. I have never been to 90 ft with it and never will. I have been to 60 but that was just because I was not paying attention and have had two people hooked up to it a few times. It came with two 60 ft hoses.
I normally dive alone and always have. I found that if I turn the motor down I can get around 4 hours out of a tank of gas. I have to be very careful of my depth. 4 hours below 32 ft and I would just have to stay there
It has no reserve tank, did not come with one, and I have never seen the need for one myself.
I hope this helps. I have never used any other hookah but this one.
When you are on bottom you can sense when it is running. I don't really know if you can hear it or sense the pulses in the hose. Don't really know but you know when it quits, even before you notice a lack of air. I have had it sink twice and run out of gas a half dozen times, I never said I was smart. I sensed it quit every time and headed up, once from thirty ft. I had no problem getting up.
