Hello to all. I have been following the forum quite frequently and thank you for all the great questions and answers posted. I'm a previous owner of the excellent Whites products. I started with a 5900 then an XLT and when the MXT came out had to have that too. Somewhere along the line I missed the bus for the DFX but understand that it was a great machine as well. Last Monday(4-27) I purchased the Vision. Had read about the name change and was expecting to pull out a Spectra from the box but instead got a Vision. All seems to be going well so far. First time out within the hour I dug a 46' Wheat not bad could have been zinc. I look forward to sharing stories and finds along the way as well as picking up a few adjustment tips.

Welcome aboard Jason.

Welcome from Tennessee. Glad to have you. You won't be disappointed in the machine.

I had some fun times with a 5900 back in the days. The new Vision shows advancement in the Whites line.

I live in Eureka Bill, right between Peoria and Bloomington.

I would like to see more posters have their town or general location in their signature, even if it is just their state. Curious where you are all from.

I know where those towns are. I lived in several towns in that state as my old man moved around a lot. Spent most of my time in Woodriver and Alton but lived in Quincy, Evanston, worked in Waukegan, Jerseyville, Jacksonville, Rhoodhouse, and a few other smaller burgs. Currently have been in Portland, Oregon for many years.
