General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

New to forum but can’t contact to buy?….

So maybe i missed something. Found a detector to drop $500 on and can’t contact person? I can see not being able to sell but it seems they are discouraging purchasing, which seems to be a negative for your sellers…..

You probably haven't been a member long enough/the require time (forum rules) to p.m. the person.

You might try posting a WTB ad here on the classifieds of what you are looking for with your email or telephone (or both) for contact.-----I can't remember what the required membership time is before you can send p.m.s--it isn't very long though.-----Just trying to help.-------Del

I really appreciate the help but something seems fishy, ive been at a job for 34 years and got a good feel tht i shld prob stick to ebay for secure transaction. After all i have no protection for a delivery. Im just gonna back away. Site is very informative thou and good tech. Have a nice day.

Don't get discouraged,, you can check the sellers standing on the forum,, if they've been on here for years ,, mostly likely they're reputable people. I've bought from a few people here with absolutely no problems,, I've even had a member send me something for free ,,, that was a shock. Everywhere you go,, they're are rules to go by ,, this place is no different,,, in the long run ,, it's trying to protect you and others on here . We all wanted to be treated special sometimes,,, I guess this time,, it just wasn't your turn ,,,, :rofl: ,,,,, just kidding with ya here .

You were very right! I almost got takin to cleaners! Whew tht was close! Ive since had everthing removed. It pays to listen to the senoir members. Ill be more careful:)
 
I have bought and sold many things on findmall and have never had a bad deal. I have made some great friends on here and met up and went detecting also. You have to be a member and post for a while so people don’t get scammed. To many people just get on to scam people and this sight does a great job of keeping that from happening.
