New Tesoro-What Do You Expect?

RLOH

Well-known member
I am curious to what the die hard Tesoro people want or expect out of the yet to be released detector. I have two ideas, both which I would like to see. First- an ID detector based on the Cortes-Deleon platform, with auto ground tracking and tone ID. Second- a tone ID version of a Tejon-Vaquero. Many people have the opinion that Tesoro is way behind the other guys technology wise, but I disagree with that notion. Every detector in the lineup is proven and well built. I would love to see a Golden Umax tone id on a "V" or Tejon. That would be my perfect detector.

Tone ID!

Hey I've got a 30 year old Garrett ADS 4 that works just fine and still finds stuff. But ya, it is a bit behind in technology.

Oh, they (Tesoro) has got all that worked out RL!.----They're tryin to figure out what to name the thing now!------I want tone ID & manual GB adjustment capability for BOTH a.m. & disc.

Analog circuitry and sound but TID like the Deleon. Tones are ok but two is enough for me.The four tones of the Golden just confuse me. And a back light!!!

At a minimum tones and also an underneath trigger switch for pinpointing and all metal...

If tones 2 is enough, one for ferrous and another for non-ferrous. No motion all metal threshold based pinpoint trigger switch under the control housing. I could live with or without a meter/display. I have been and still am very satisfied with what they have but am anxiuos to see what their future model/models will be.

Hopefully both

I also have the ADS 4 and this machine will keep up with any Tesoro model out there....Down side, way to heavy a machine to swing for more then a half hour....I do not need a meter or tone machine......When Relic, water or gold hunting a meter is never used, than why would anyone want one, set dis and dig....

With a meter I don't have to dig tabs.

Cortes based..... If it is tone's.....I hope they separate them a lot more than what they have in the past....4 tones at the most.1-4 selectable tone's..auto and Manual ground adjust in disc and a.m modes..Threshold based non motion all metal pinpoint that can detune..Big display number readout..100 points of notch able discrimination..

Later, I as a user of a Cowboy, I hope the same detector, but with 2 or more sounds identification and turn it multifrequency, FBS type to better adapt to sudden changes in mineralization and not lose depth. And since to ask .... would be good Automatic Ground balance and constant adjustment of this can be avoided.

regards

No, not always. If the signal is breaking up and/or isn't repeatable in 2 directions I may skip digging. I don't disc out pulltabs and that pays off.

multi-frequency, Water proof, size of all there land units, interchangeable coils and headphones, all metal to disc switch and still 2 1/2 lbs.. Find a quarter at say 14 inches. Cost of unit under $700.00....Oh yeah one more thing comes already on a straight shaft. OK get to work lololol!!!!!

How many tabs do you dig in a years time?
