New start

New year and a new detector. Most of my area has been detected very hard. I finally decided to upgrade detectors. No more hip mounting my heavy detector. Yesterday my first coin of the season was an 1881 Indian Cent. It's been years since I've found an Indian cent. This one was nine inches down in very dry soil. I went back out today into another area. First coin was a 1917 Mercury Dime. Then I followed up with a deep Mini Ball 68 caliber three ringer. 68 Just my age. Taking it slow and not pounding the areas so I can enjoy many new finds in the future. I have so many old hunted hard sites to revisit now. Me and my Minelab Manticore.
