New Sovereign Project After today's first hunt.

Reversing the sunray probe in its holder would cut out 2 potential problems i see, both ends of the cable look really strained and tightly curved, i say this as one of mine is giving me problems, there is a short or something right where the cable goes into the probe causing it to false continuosly, caused probably by this similar setup, the cable could have been a tad longer for me especially as i dig and use it standing up rather than lay the detector down. I like those blue Sov hipmount bags too, better than the pole mount version as they are completely sealed when closed.

Kered,I'll reverse the probe and see how it work especially if it could eliminate further problems.I like the blue bag inexpensive and work well.Went for a short search today.Another couple of wheat's and dollars worth of new change.Since taking a small amount of plastic off the rechargeable battery the door locked in place and never lost contact even when jarred slightly. Thanks Ron
