New programe for v3i created

I found a new setting to work with and I ensure you it is a great scoop for coins. At first make a new copy of 'coin and jewelery' program and name it whatever you want, then except all targets from -95 to +95. Set the vdi tones to shifted and choose negative tone 140 and reference tone 210.
Modulation- blank(off)
Rx-gain 12
Discrimination 75
all-metal 65
tx boost -blank (off) With lower discrimination tx boost on for extra depth.
Now use Three frequencies and filter preferred 5 band, if too noisy 7.5 band, recovery delay 45, s.a.t 8.
I hope you like this cause I used it today and it does not leave a coin behind no matter the size. If cannot ground balance drop a bit discrimination until gets quite and adjust when ever you need or want, this program it's for running hot, even though you can run it quite.

I'm glad you made a program that works for you. :clapping: For me, your recovery delay is way fast but if you are hunting in a lot of trash, that would work OK. Of course, the SAT is an All Metal adjustment but you probably already know that.

You might want to reconsider accepting the ground as a target and assigning it an audio tone of 140.......... that would drive me nuts.

Glad the program is working for you. Any settings you use that work for you are great. I just have a few questions for you.

A recovery delay of 45 is fine, but why did you chose 45?
What happens if you lower RX to 10 and increase Disc to 85 - 90?
What is your reason for a SAT of 8?

I have no problem with your settings, but just like your reasoning.

Thanks Larry, you might be right, If it's Gbalanced gets quite. The reason I chose just a single tone for iron makes the other metals to be picked up easier. Recovery fast because if of course is trashy, but a coin will have better sound if next to a nail and 140 tone for iron a coin will easily be picked up by fast recovery comparing when you have a ticking low.

A recovery delay of 45 is fine, but why did you chose 45? - I chose that for trashy area but realy works when a nail is next to a coin and you will not think it's a faulse signal.
What happens if you lower RX to 10 and increase Disc to 85 - 90? -Gets a bit noisy from ground minerals and smaller targets, but you can do that when you are searching for smaller targets.
What is your reason for a SAT of 8? -Well this one Just put it there but could be adjusted by personal preference.

in the description of the new programme you created you mentioned the reference tone of 210. Please explain this further.

I believe he means target tone. It looks like a 2 tone program. He is located in Cyprus.

Hi there pastfinder1, you are right the tone setting is not what I really meant, it is a two tone program 140 for Iron and 210 for accepting targets but strange way how I confused with my writing the preset "shifted". Robert is right, The high gain setting helped me a lot with deep silver and small low conductive targets. Discrimination having it low helps a lot with false signals but you still have a powerful detector. RD low helps get the good target next to a big iron, with a smoothly and consistent signal and tone. Thanks for asking.

I am using the eclipse 950 coil I wonder how this would respond.
