I don't know if any of you guys have ever tried hunting old boat landing but I have been doing pretty good at these sites. Been finding some coins ( nothing old ) but you have to take into consideration the age of the landing. I went to one yesterday and found a little clad , a load of pull tabs and bottle tops also a lot of 22 shells that show up and sound like a dime on the ACE everytime. I will hunt this spot again with a smaller coil. Give old landings a try you might be surprised what you will find.
