New pin-pointer suspense

Gonna be the 20th now. Hope they made enough for everyone that wants one!

In theory it looks a very capable pinpointer, but time will tell how reliable it is.

Don't we all have good pinpointers already? This looks just like the Garrett and Minelab ones. How much better could it be? I'm not rushing to get a new one. Maybe when my PP wears out. If the Whites gets great reviews. I am curious to see what people think of it when they actually have it in their hand and can compare it to the others. Good luck to all you guys waiting for one.

I should have one before long and will give an honest review of it. I will probably post a short video test with it also.

Be looking forward to your review of it Bill.

You will be happy. I will post a review as soon as I am allowed to. I liked the proto but the finished product is prettier and better. :wiggle:

I cant wait, my local dealer wont have one till the cows come home.

I did make a couple vids and the whites new pinpointer is definitely deeper I tested on a quarter and a 10k gold ring.. the garrett is a little better on vibration not a lot to me.. but depth is really good on the whites..compares well to the tests ive done with sunray inline... I like it more each time I use it..

Gettin one.
Tryin it.
Like it, keep it.
Don't like, sellin it.
It's all part of the hobby for me. It doesnt have to be the bestest and come with a money back guarantee of
Creating world peace,
I just have to LIKE it.
It's the same with new detectors...

I will purchase one as soon as a dealer will take my order!

one thing I just checked is if I super tune the garrett it will almost match the whites... not quite but close... I tried to super tune the whites but im not sure it can be done

As we suggested the vibrate and speaker function was increased on the final version. Monte was addressing a prototype. Also function selection was changed but more on that when I get a final version in my hand.

If you get one before mine gets here, Please be careful when cleaning the TRX. There is a very thin membrane under the speaker grill that does keep water out of the electronics, but since it is very thin it is also very fragile. Use only running water to clean out the speaker grill.

Rob------Is this thin membrane you speak of just a "quick fix" (in regard to waterproofing the TRX)?-----Didn't Carl mention that they are trying to figure out a way to waterproof the speaker?-----Or is this thin membrane going to be the final product as far as waterproofing the TRX is concerned?

You would have to ask Carl. This as I understand was an attempt to not muffle the audio. My prototype I believe had a heavier membrane over the speaker.

Hahahahahaha. It better be good.
I bet will will be more expensive than Garretts.
Whates can't come close to Garrett. "KEEP TRYING BOYS"

The TRX lists for $160 but can be purchased for less and the depth is 4 to 5 inches right out of the box which is very impressive. The TRX has many features that the Garrett does not have. You need to do some more research Robert, I think White's has hit a home run on this one.

 Oh I like to hear that Larry!---Especially about the depth you stated.-----Does it have as strong of a vibrator as the Pro Pointer?-------Del

Mine is in the mail. :clapping: Texas mail is slow. The audio and vibration was increased over the prototype version. The pinpointer has a ground grab and tracking so the the depth is deep.

There will be a few pleasant surprises, I just need to get my hands on the final version.

Hi Del, we will have to wait until Rob gets his production unit, he will get his before me. I do believe the TRX is better in every way.
