Anybody here using the Whites Bullseye TRX Pinpointer? Reviews look as good if not better than the carrot. Any interference issues with the Nox? Does the TRX hold up well long term? Thanks again
I should say the Minelab Pro-find 35I use the Pro-pointer 35 with ferrous, non-ferrous ability. I love that feature.
I also use a carbon fiber shaft & a must have control box cover to protect the face from damage.
5900 that is interesting. What is the negative side of tip only? The drawback I could see is if your target is off to the side of the hole you might not have enough room to angle the probe enough so that the top is pointed towards the target. Otherwise it seems like it would be the better design. Robert the ferrous tone feature of the Minelab seems like it would be useful as a lot of targets that are left these days are co-located with trash. The best would be a sunray style unit that uses the detectors discrimination. What kind of carbon fiber shaft do you use and what brand control box cover? Thanks again for all of the info.
Deus makes two versions one links with the machine MI-6 and the less expensive MI-4Thanks again. The Garrett carrot seems to be a no frills favorite of most. The Minelab has a nice feature of the ferrous indication sound and the XP rechargeable feature is very nice, but the price tag is high on that one.
Me too...I also use the TRX. Wouldn't leave home without it!
Sunray is out of business---that's old news (Ralph retired). That’s all good info sube. Thank you. I didn’t know about the button issue. What I like about it from what I’ve read and seen online is that it’s deeper than most other pinpointers and how it only pinpoints out the tip rather than the whole thing, which most if not all others do. It’s a little pricier than the carrot and most of the others but it seems to be worth the extra money...at least until sunray makes an in-line probe for it like the x1 for the explorers.
