Silence Tesoro users...the PC cop has arrived!

I have one Tesoro left in my arsenal, it does what I need it to do and that's all I can ask for. I'll check back in 6 months and see what all the hype about the new Cazador turns out to be.

Funny thing, is if Tesoro was smart, they would be advertising and pushing this new machine like RIGHT NOW....as people are starting to get their tax money back and are ready to spend it post haste....wait another 3 months and they will have to wait til next year, as a detector is a want...not a need, and although people will still buy them year round...they are missing out on the opportunity of the season.

Great post Little John. Tesoro needs to take notice. How can it hurt to get some information out about the new machine? This builds anticipation, enables guys (and gals) to put some funds away based on some specific information and not simply, "a new detector is coming".

If they like what they hear, they just might hold out for the only new model coming out this spring/summer.

I think the world of Tesoro and never doubt what they do & how or why they do it. But I have to agree with you LittleJohn, I am one of those that can only afford a new detector by way of tax return. I get a pretty good amount back on my tax return but limit myself of what I spend on a detector as I use the money to pay bills that need catching up and other necessary things. I did pick up a Eurotek Pro as I got it at a great price and they work quite well in my ground but am holding back for a more "advanced" detector. I am waiting patiently to see what the good folks @ Tesoro is coming out with because I would love to have a Tesoro detector but won't be able to hang on to my "detector money" for too long as things pop up and have a way at whittling away my detector fund. As I mentioned I think highly of Tesoro and my "advanced" detector may very well be a detector already produced by Tesoro even if they don't bring the new model out in time but I see alot of great deals on the forums and I could accidently drool on the buy it now key of my computer. Not trying to hurry you Tesoro...................... well maybe alittle bit

Ok, but it's really going to be difficult to quit worrying.

Sleepless nights of tossing and turning, wondering what color it is or if it is waterproof...or if it has manual ground balance...is it a 9 volt unit or is it going to be 8 AA's to make it all work?

I just can't imagine being able to have any peace in my life without knowing the answers to these questions....but for you tabman...we will all make the attempt at calming our curiosity by playing with a compadre...oh yes the mighty compadre with one knob that rules the tesoro world....

Maybe they'll make it bright yellow with red trim to help keep thieves away.

I'm hoping that Tesoro's new detector will have really large VDI numbers and multiple ID tones. I want it to have as much depth as the Cortes and Tejon. To get all that, I bet they'll use the Tejon/Cortes control box and power it by 8 AA batteries. They should paint it black and trim it in gold.
