New Name Is Here

Here is what I have:


Greetings, Hunters! In November, we published a selection of names for our new machine. You voted, we tallied, and the verdict is "Cazador."

Cazador means "Hunter" in Spanish. Many of you showed interest in keeping the Spanish name tradition that Tesoro has held for years.

We will keep you posted on any information that we can share about our newest machine. For now (if it's not too cold where you are!), hunt on!

I Agree what would posting the color scheme hurt too! Just give Us a rough estimate of the release date So Us poor guys will know how long it will take us to save the moola to purchase the new Model!!!!

I am sure it'll be worth the wait. At least they said there is a new detector soon, then you know it's real. No matter what information is given, everyone wants more, so I am thankfull to know there is one on the way as I have been a little itchy to try something new and I like Tesoro's so I am waiting.

I would say pull the trigger on another detector as there is no enthusiasm about the detector-enough to give the hint it's gonna be anything radically different. Besides, there seems to be no resolution to the Golden problem, so how could there be anything technically advanced in this new detector. Just saying.

Well, the name isn't too exciting. Maybe if you named it bad a$$ mo fo in Spanish it would get my attention......
Why not release a picture of the detector and let us see it along with a list of features and MSRP.
Some guys will buy it no matter what it is, but I think most will sit back and see what the verdict is first.

Not that thrilling a name to me either but that's what the majority voted on so that's the way it is .
On one forum I had suggested " El Macho" or "Machismo" maybe that was a bit brash , presumptuous or " politically incorrect" for a name . I guess in my case the name Corona would be more fitting in honor of the thousands of Corona beer bottle caps I have dug over the years .

For me , Bud Lite b.c. 's are in second place here , then Miller + Heineken . I don't drink them either .

I wish Tesoro would build a detector in solid Gold color with a little quartz pin-striping and call it the gold finding MOFO. That would be the reason i would buy it.
