I like that name Ghost. Never read what everyone submitted but thats a good one. Matte Black is the color I would like to see but I want the coil to be white like the outlaws. That shows up best in our cedar water when I wade
I'll 2nd. that comment. Just got home from work. Had a lousy day. Your comment really cracked me up. Now they keep telling us what it means in Spanish. I wonder if they checked any other languages?!
Yea , I know, I know,...color and name doesn't matter,...yada yada yada. I am of the opinion that a hobbyist takes pride in his machine and that includes name & color AND performance. That is why I DO NOT have a bright yellow or green Garrett, or a purple Vaquero, or a neon green Cibola. I like the traditional Tesoro colors. I also don't mind the new name "Cazador". It is going to be very interesting what color it will be but to be honest with you guys I will be studying it's features very closely before I purchase. It's exciting and I can't wait to see the new unit.
Glad that they continued on with the Spanish name, but at this point as long as Tesoro continues the tradition of naming their machines after the American Southwest/ Latin America I would be happy. IMO, this is their tradition. HH and GL

I second that statement. Also as far as color goes i think the flashycolors is a tradition in the American southwest/ Latin america, i always thought that is why tesoro uses those colors. either way i could care less about color and name.
I think the new Tesoro colors should be like the Troy Shadows, black with red accents. Makes for a great looking detector.
And the name doesn't appeal to me either. BLAH!

Ok so the name Cazador is not that appealing for many.
Just call it by it's shortened name "CAZ", now doesn't that sound better?
And if you are a car buff, etc. who has a habit of naming objects after women, you can refer your CAZ as Cazandra. Sounds
kind of sexy now...............
Happy Hunting
Here's my two cents, Spaniards and pirates, treasures, ships, rum, and.... Swords, "Tesoro Espada" completely matte black finish with metallic silver face, and a gold tesoro logo.. But like others have said, what's it matter as long as it functions as a good detector, just gotta wonder why they dont look a little more bad ass.. If tesoro was a bike, I'd like to think it'd be a harley.. Lol
