New hunting partner

Larry (IL)

Well-known member
A new addition to our family, Zach, a two year old Boxer. Major was getting pretty down with the passing of Maggie and he needed a new playmate. (Well....... us too) Zach loves the outdoors and gets so excited when we go on our camping/metal detecting trips. I guess I have posted one of these before but I added a couple more.

Silver is getting pretty elusive is seems these days, at least in the public hunting areas. We ask permission in the private sector to hunt and seem to do better but still, just not as good as it used to be. Come to think of it, recreational metal detecting have been around for as long as I have, 69 yeas, at least that is when White's started making them for the masses. They keep making them better but you can only dig so deep without giving ourselves a bad name for the hobby. I'm getting at that age where I don't want to dig real deep anyway o_O

Larry & Nancy-----Congratulations on your new family member!----A couple of FINE looking lads indeed!---------Del & Patsy

Sure sorry about the passing of Chilli Mac, especially on Christmas eve.

Thanks for the Kudos everybody. The youngster has brought new life back to Major, a 5 y.o. They have bonded and play until they can't stand up anymore. Even then, they play on their backs until they fall asleep. Not a day goes by they don't make us laugh with their boxer antics and that is good medicine for us too.
