New Fors CoRe Coming. Lower rod question

Tod NE

Member
Hey all,

First time posting in the Nokta forum. I have a Fors Core coming and am excited. I know new stuff is coming out from the factory, but wanted to get to know the machine a bit before the thaw.

I have 3 coils coming and I don't think they come with extra rods. Doesn't look like big K sells them separately.

It looks like a pretty standard style rod - anyone know of any other brand that might interchange?

Hello..thank you for ordering a Nokta product.
You can place an order with Kellyco. If you have any issues, you can let us know and we will assist you further.

Hello & thanks for the quick response Nokta,
Your customer service is becoming the gold standard.
I didn't see them on Kellyco's site, but will give them a call.

What i would do first if you have any extra rods handy try them and see if they would work

Thanks Keppy,

I will definately try. I have Fisher and Whites rods I can check.

I could not find the rod using Kellyco's search, but found one on their site using Google. For those interested, here's the link: http://www.kellycodetectors.com/products/accessories/1448-FORSTSHAFT/telescopic-shaft-replacement

It's called a "telescopic shaft" and not sure what models it's for. I guess I'll figure it out when it gets here - no hurry, it was 13 degrees today. Thanks again.

Fisher lower rods work ..same length.. add a nylon washer 1/16 on each side and it works perfect...get them in the Toilet supply isle at home depot...
