New etrac

Thanks for the advice Ryan. Will try that out. I've been md for 13 years so I'm comfortable with. Just not the etrac so it will feel like the first time. Seems like pinpointing is not to accurate. Is this true? My etrac will be here Friday.

I have some trouble pinpointing, but it is usually due to trash. I pinpoint using the wiggle method with the E-trac, and it can be off to the sides. The built-in pinpoint mode is accurate, but I almost never use it because I hunt so many nail ridden sites. I also use a Propointer primarily, and occasionally use the x-1 probe that I always keep attached.

Only one state off.... Sorry Ryan.

Guess I might need to learn the wiggle method. Everyone talks about the weight issue. I mean how heavy could it really be? Compared to a v3i?
