New Detectors?

Manufacturers,particularly the marketing men must laugh st how easy it is to sell their latest hyper detectors.We see a new model promising this that and the other and many will jump on the bandwagon until the next latest model comes along.People buy the latest dream machine and say how fabulous it is,the best detector they have ever used and sell it to buy the next "greatest ever".
I will stick with my old tech until I actually see a detector that has features that really make a difference.......I haven't seen anything like that for years.

True and I’ve tried most of the new ones (I seldom have bought them new) But Nauti, the Manticore has the performance and just as important, the features that make it damned near perfect for me. There is nothing close to having everything that I want and how I want it so I’m done searching. I think it’ll be many years before I see a ‘better for me’ detector. I hope everyone can or has found ‘their’ detector. The same applies for my fishing rod and reels. Unfortunately I still haven’t found my perfect boats. Yes plural, no one boat can do it all.
