New CZ ??

Speculation regardng such in the following threads:

"A simple question for Fisher"

"I can't wait for the new..."

--Dave J.

I can almost hear Dave J. laughing as he types the word "Speculation" and then fills in the rest of the post!

Touche Dave J. !

know there is a lot of $$$$ waiting to be spent on the new one.

Hell I hope they release it soon so I'll have time to enjoy it before I kick the bucket. Never know what's going to happen at my age.

Dave - And on page 2 there is the "New Fisher CZ Unit" - the mother of all threads on this. ;-)

tvr - And note how cryptic Dave was with the following:
"Speculation regardng such in the following threads:"

Yeah, the "i" is gone from regarding. I mean Dave, why don't you try to make it a little more obvious with the hidden meanings. Cryptography is my specialty, but I'll leave it for everyone else to discover.

Just make a CZ that is close to performing like a CTX in mineralized grounds, but lighter and roughly 1/2 the price. They (I) will come...

You never know. It could be in "Santa's sleigh", the Easter Bunny's basket, or in a leprechaun's pot o'gold, no pun intended. Could the next FT detector be a CZ, an F-Series, with Teknetics counterpart, or something that defies all logic? The only one who knows for certain(Dave J) sure is doing a lot of talking, though not really saying much of anything on the topic. I mean, he comments on all these threads, on all the forums, yet, somehow, manages never to really reveal anything. With this power, he should run for office. Say it with me:

Dave J for President!!

Certainly will be a surprise to me as the new Fisher is concentating on F series units.

When SR stopped making the large CZ coils a light went on as these guys are in the know....

Heck I really don't care as i have a near mint CZ6A which will go as deep coil for coil as anything on the market...plus its has to be an oddball as I can run at 10 sens. and still have a stable unit...Owned a few CZ models in my day and never had one that could do that...

I am forever waiting for this reveal. I pwn a few machines, would love an exscuse to pwn another...lmao. hh an gl. -Joe

What about a CZ with a digital readout, new way of displaying data, half the weight and a DD coil? :surprised:

I'm wondering how much better can they make the F series or even Omega? If they can get the Omega a bit deeper it would be in E-Trac range, it is already fast. I do think there are lots of improvements to be made regarding a stable VID, better EMI performance, better performance in mineralized ground, etc. I do think a new CZ can rock the detecting world. Especially if they get the price right. Basically E-Trac price (or lower to get sales) with CTX performance. They can do that, I'm sure of it. HUGE market there.

Of course one can be improved but don't feel they will.....also have an F-5 when I don't need CZ depth and better ID....

i waited a long time for a new CZ my cz 21 did his job many year each day ,day by day,
i wanted something new hoped for a new cz

i dont think there will be a new cz

thats the reason i have now a ctx3030 :wiggle:

Not a problem, ikspeel. If we ever come out with a machine that you'd rather have than the Minelab, just sell the Minelab and buy the new Fisher (or Teknetics or whatever it is).

dave please dont tell my husband
but when the new fisher comes out i cant resist to by it to :fisher::wiggle:
my cz21 was like my third arm

There is a lot going on in the metal detecting world. Lots of distractions and some new faces. Guess a lot of Fisher guys are curious about these new machines. Myself and a lot of others are holding off and hoping for an early Christmas present from Fisher. I guess if I had to use my CZ 3d, my F75 ltd or my CZ 70 and pass on a new one it would probably be ok. We are thankful for the ones we have but always willing to give a new one a whirl.

if it like the F series detectors they will lose a customer, ill switch 2 minelabs. Ive been a fisher user for many years and 1 of the many reasons is because they r built like a tank

Robert, I have to tell you swinging an E trac is like holding a bowling ball out as far as you can from your body and moving it without letting it dip. I forced myself to swing the E trac for the last three or four weeks. I picked up the F75 ltd and it was such a joy. I have hauled mine through 14 or 15 states and pounded it in the fields and woods and it has never faltered. I lost my stock coil in deep water when it flooded. Fisher sent me a new one asap and we haven't missed a beat since. The Fs are a lot tougher than they look.
